a weekend of Yoga and Gestalt
21-22 September 2024, Bonn
If we are not truly present to what is happening within and around us, we can miss out on a great part of our lives. And the unlived life remains within us in the form of tension. We will use whtis weekend to look at what being present really entails. What life asks of us. How we show up for it on the seemingly small-scale level. I will use my knowledge of and experience within both Yoga and Gestalt Therapy. Doing various practices and also sharing our insights and stories with the group we will gain a glimpse of what it could mean to be present to ourselves and the world.
We will gather in a beautiful room, surrounded by lush greenery, in the south of Bonn (Bad Godesberg). You will receive a printed resource guide for the weekend.
You don’t need to have an existing Yoga practice or know anything about Gestalt, everyone is welcome.
All you need is curiosity and openness.
Our schedule
Both days start at 9:00 am and end at 5:30 pm.
9:00am – 12:30am: morning session (30 minutes break) including: movement and breath journey, meditation, welcome and awareness raising group work
12:30-2:00pm: Lunch break and resting
2:00pm – 5:00pm: afternoon session (30 minutes break) including: awareness raising group work, guided meditation, exercise on what prevents us from being present, sharing
5:00pm-5:30pm: somatic descent relaxation
The weekend includes a brunch with hot and cold food on both days as well as drinks and snacks throughout the day.
To allow ample time for sharing, I want to keep the group size small, so there is a maximum of 8 spaces.

The workshop will be taught in English unless all participants feel comfortable understanding and speaking German.
